Future Peter has to go find his present day self and Aunt May because they were taken by Norman Osborn. Meanwhile, J. Jonah Jameson and Teresa go after the Tinkerer. Each Peter has different things that they’re struggling with right now and at the end of the issue, future Peter learns that Teresa is really his sister. Present day Peter overhears the conversation, along with Peter saying how hard things get, and we end the issue with him throwing his Spider-Man suit in the trash. Surely, he’ll be convinced to keep going, especially now that the secret is out with Aunt May.

A. . Chip Zdarsky, Joe Quinones. . Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man #303

Chip Zdarsky just flat out knows how to tell an entertaining Spider-Man story. Having two Peters interact with each other isn’t an easy thing to do, but he does it well. The art from Joe Quinones compliments the story wonderfully, too. Everything about this feels like a nice, classic Spider-Man tale and I love it.
