Maybe a live-action Miles Morales Spider-Man movie happens down the road, but it’s something fans should be patient for.

Miles Morales jumped onto the scene in 2011 and was immediately met with mixed reviews. Some people were happy that the new Ultimate Spider-Man was a kid of color. Other people thought it was a blatant way to sell comics. After a short amount of time, Miles became a fun character and a Spider-Man everyone loved, Mostly because Miles was almost nothing like his predecessor, Peter Parker.

Miles is just as quip happy as Peter Parker, but he lacked Peter’s genius intellect. What Miles lacked in book smarts he added with street smarts and a more aggressive approach to fighting. Also, Miles had some powers that Peter didn’t have. He has a camouflage mode that allows him to blend into the setting. He also has a venom blast that shocks his opponent’s nervous system. His venom blast also seems to be evolving. In the recent comic books, Miles has used it to tie people up.

Miles will be in an animated movie in December called Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse. This is a great way to introduce Miles (who will be voice by Shameik Moore from Dope and The Get Down). It gives people who don’t know him a reason to be excited about him joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the events of Avengers: Infinity War, people are wondering what the future of Peter Parker will be. Obviously, he been cast in the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. While I’m also ready for Miles Morales to get his own solo movie, his introduction needs to be done properly.
