Despite what you may think, Spider-Man hated Deadpool. To Spider-Man, Deadpool is a despicable murderer with no chance of redemption. Spidery isn’t completely wrong. No matter how much Wade tries, he always goes back to being a killer. That’s just who he is. On the flip side, a lot of Spider-Man’s teammates have killed, including Captain America who Spider-Man admires.

Deadpool and Spider-Man have butted heads a few times and even teamed up. In the series Suicide Kings, Deadpool and Spidey had an awkward team-up that started with the two of them making jokes about each other. Spidey may not have enjoyed it, but they work well together.

Spider-Man went as far as to quit the Avengers after Steve Rogers made him part of the Unity Squad. Soon after Deadpool joined the team, Deadpool went to Spider-Man to ask for his help. Not to teach him to be a hero, Deadpool was hoping to earn his respect. What’s funny is while earning his respect he was trying to kill Peter Parker. The two would go on to have a bunch of awkward and funny moments. A personal favorite was Spidey and Deadpool doing the Dirty Dancing lift.

The Spider-Man and Deadpool series is going on its 32nd issue and it doesn’t look like it’s stopping any time soon. It’s amazing that the two of them didn’t have more team-ups in the past. The two of them are on this list because they have the potential to be one of the great duos in comic books.
