25. Will the real Wade Wilson please stand up

Every hero has a villain that is the opposite of what they represent. Matt Murdock is a lawyer and Wilson Fisk is the king of crime. Hal Jordan represents willpower while Sinestro represents fear. The closest thing Deadpool has to a nemesis is T-Ray.

T-Ray represents everything that he has fought hard to never be. He will accept jobs so depraved that the mercenary job dispatcher isn’t comfortable giving out.  What’s really interesting is that he thinks he’s the real Wade Wilson.

T-Ray has a memory of him and his wife taking in a stranger. That guy tried to kill him but ended up accidentally killing T-Ray’s wife. T-Ray believes that stranger was Deadpool.

T-Ray spent years trying to perfect the perfect revenge. He resurrected his dead wife and made her fall in love with Deadpool. Once she did, T-Ray revealed that Deadpool was the imposter! Too bad for T-Ray there are holes in his memories.

In T-Ray’s memory, he found Deadpool in his costume. Deadpool didn’t get his costume until after he left the Weapon X program. It’s not possible for Deadpool to have been in costume and normal at the same time.

No matter what Deadpool may tell him, T-Ray will never believe him. But, that’s what villains do. They’re delusional. Deadpool ended up killing T-Ray with a bomb he made look like a detonator. He even tricked T-Ray into pressing the button himself.
