26. Deadpool and Death

Women aren’t exactly fighting for the affection of Wade Wilson. Before the experiment, Wade was a good-looking guy. Now, Deadpool is crude, obnoxious, has very little social skills, and isn’t…conventionally attractive. Other than Vanessa and Shiklah (who will come up later) there aren’t any women who love Wade for who he is. Well, no other earthly women. The cosmic being Death is in love with Wade.

While Wade was being tortured by Weapon X, Death visited him. Wade thought he was going crazy. He was surprised that his vision was real while Death was shocked that not only could Wade see her, but he didn’t go crazy after. Wade started getting tortured with the intention of seeing Death. All Wade had to do was die and they could be together forever. Too bad nothing ever works out for him.

During one of Wade’s tortures, Wade almost died. When his rage kicked in his healing factor. This stopped them from being together.

Later, Wade was killed by Weapon X leaving nothing but his hand. He was finally given the opportunity to be with Death. Just as the two were about to kiss, Wade was brought back to life by T-Ray. T-Ray was given the ability to resurrect Deadpool by a being that was obsessed and in love with Death; the Mad Titan, Thanos. He cursed Wade Wilson with life making him unable to be with the woman he loved.

Wade would later try to kill himself multiple times. Not even the Hulk could kill him. Even when he had his healing factor deactivated, it eventually kicked back in it. It looks like Deadpool will never be with someone who loves him as much as he loves her.
