Superior Spider-Man (Earth 616)
Dr. Otto Octavious did something that very few villains can say. He beat his arch nemesis. Otto switched his mind from his weak and dying body into Peter Parker’s. This left Peter to die in Dr. Octopus’ body. What Otto didn’t realize was all of the effort and struggle Peter dealt with while being Spider-Man. Otto took his new body and became the Superior Spider-Man.
For a while, Otto did a fantastic job. Problem is, Otto let his arrogance get the best of him. Once he realized that Peter was in fact the better Spider-Man, Otto gave the reigns to Peter admitting that Peter was in fact the Superior Spider-Man.
It’s uncertain whether or not this Superior Spider-Man will be the same from the 616 universe displaced from time or if he’s an alternate version. Either way, Otto is not to be taken lightly. He has the willingness to kill and let others die if it means completing his mission. In certain cases it makes sense to not have the emotions that Peter has. In a lot of cases, Otto goes too far. Maybe he’s the reason the Inheritors are back.

May “Mayday” Parker is the daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane from an alternate reality. In this reality, the Green Goblin stole her from them. They were reunited when Kaine brought her back to them. In this reality, Peter loses his leg in a fight with the Green Goblin and retires from being Spider-Man. Mayday eventually developed powers like her father.
In the beginning, Peter was against her carrying the mantle. After Mayday saved the life of some of her friends, she confided in her father that she was still Spider-Girl. After their talk, Peter gave her his blessing.
During Spider-Verse, Mayday’s father was killed by an Inheritor. She vowed to make them pay for this. Just as she was about to destroy a crystal that would kill off the inheritor’s father’s memory, she realized that she isn’t vengeful and let it survive the encounter. Mayday is a lot like her father, but has the potential to be better. It wouldn’t be shocking if she ends up on Earth 616 when this is over.
