Lewis Tan isn’t Nightwing: Here are 10 actors we think could be

Chandler Riggs made his name as Carl Grimes from the Walking Dead. We saw Riggs grow from a child to man in the eight seasons he appeared on TWD. Walking Dead fans were an emotional wreck when Carl died during the show’s eighth season. Throughout his time on the show, Riggs showed improvement as an actor. Now, without the restraints of television, Riggs is ready to take on the big screen.
As a matter of fact, before Carl’s demise, Riggs auditioned for the role of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming before being beaten out by Tom Holland. At 19, Riggs hasn’t even begun to hit his stride as an actor.
He has a fresh face and a look that would allow him to play a very young Dick Grayson in a Matt Reeves Batman film. Additionally, he’d be able to play the role as Robin for multiple films. Imagine watching a young Robin grow into Nightwing.

Kit Harrington
If Lewis Tan’s discussion or meeting with DC execs about Nightwing tells us anything it’s that they could be looking at an older actor. Kit Harrington is 31 and has a legion of fans thanks to his role on HBO’s Game of Thrones. Undoubtedly those fans would flock to theaters to see him play Nightwing.
Furthermore, Harrington is no stranger to the big screen starring in Pompeii, Mi-5 and he’ll star in The Death and Life of John F. Donovan. There’s no doubt that Harrington could go toe to toe with anyone playing a badass leader thanks to his GoT character Jon Snow.
Similarly, Nightwing is a kickass leader and rivals Batman on that front. Harrington could be the guy perfect for McKay’s film and if Rose Leslie plays Barbara Gordon there will be no shortage of chemistry.
