Lewis Tan isn’t Nightwing: Here are 10 actors we think could be

Logan Lerman 

Logan Lerman doesn’t look like he’s cut from the comics like the other actors on our list. Nevertheless, he has proven to be the most gifted actor. The role that made Logan Lerman standout as one of Hollywood’s young elite talents was The Perks of Being a Wildflower.

Lerman starred alongside two other young talents Emma Watson and Ezra Miller, the latter of whom is already part of the DCEU. In the coming of age story, Lerman played the awkward teen Charlie who struggled to fit in and received critical praise for his role. Proving he’s more than just an awkward teen and one of the reasons he’d make a great Nightwing was his role in Three Musketeers. 

While the movie wasn’t a critical success, as D’Artagnan Lerman did show he could play a hero. He did so again in the Percy Jackson film series as the title character. In Fury, Lerman put on an Oscar-worthy performance as a shining star alongside Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Michael Pena, and Jon Bernthal.

As Dick Grayson Lerman could play Robin for Matt Reeves or Nightwing. His talents would allow McKay and/or Reeves to exploit the darkest parts of Dick Grayson. Lerman’s ability would allow fans to invest in the character from an emotional perspective.

We don’t have a Nightwing, yet. However, thought that the DCEU is engaging in talks about Chris McKay’s film is exciting. If they won’t cast Tan as Dick Grayson, they can use our list to narrow down their picks. Who would you like to play Nightwing in the DCEU?
