DCEU’s Birds of Prey: 8 actresses who will diversify the heroines

There were rumors that had the 28-year old actress, tied to Catwoman — for good reason. Huntress is a badass with an attitude who will stop at nothing to see justice, González is the perfect person for the role. Eiza González is just hitting her stride in Hollywood. She’s a Mexican born actress who some fans will remember from Netflix’s From Dusk Till Dawn. In the series, she played the role of Santanico, the Queen Vampire of the Titty Twister. Santanico was a spirited, raw, sexy character that González played exceptionally well. The many layers to Santanico is why she’d be perfect for Huntress.

González also starred in the critically acclaimed Baby Driver as Darling. González performance was a memorable one, however, she was anything but what her name suggest. Like Santancio, Darling was pleasing to eyes but packed a heavy punch. She was a bad ass — when push came to shove she was firing shots. With González, a lot of Huntress background could stay in check with a few tweaks. Instead of the Italian Mafia they can go with the La Eme aka the Mexican Mafia. Nevertheless, if they want a diverse actress ideally suited for Huntress, González should get the role.
