The four reported characters have particularly strong ties to the comic, and some pretty serious skills. Black Canary or Dinah Laurel Lance is a skilled fighter with the ability to emit a high-pitched scream. Cassandra Cain is a martial artist and vigilante, and eventually assumes the mantle of Batgirl. Like Cain, Huntress is also a skilled fighter and vigilante, who even has ties to Batman. Renee Montoya is the only character who’s not an actual member of the group, as she’s a seasoned detective with the Gotham City Police Department.
Next: Birds of Prey: Harley Quinn should be the villain
Each of these characters are strong picks for the film’s cast and could definitely make this story entertaining. With this, it’ll be interesting to see how they’re pitted against. The film may still be a ways off, but now fans have a few reasons to be excited.
