9 Batman villains that could potentially appear in Birds of Prey

1. Jason Todd
While typically viewed as an anti-hero, Jason Todd could be in the running for a villainous angle in Birds of Prey. What makes him a great villain is his identity as Red Hood. Before he comes face to face to Batman, this version of Jason could set up for an eventual showdown between pupil and mentor. Of course, that could mean the heroes don’t win but it would make for a great movie. Especially, if Jason Todd works in the shadows overseeing Black Masks organization.
After Dick Grayson ascended to solo status, Bruce decided to take in another orphaned child, Jason Todd. The classic story follows a young Jason who almost steals the rims off the Batmobile. Instead of taking Jason to the police, Bruce sent him to a home for troubled teens. Jason ran away after discovering the criminal activity that existed in the school.
Fearing Jason would return to a life of crime, Bruce took him in. Under Bruce’s guidance, Jason trained to replace Dick Grayson as Robin. Joker later brutally murdered Jason in Batman: A Death in the Family.
However, Ras al Ghul resurrected the former Robin as a favor to his daughter. After rising from the dead, Jason sought vengeance for his death. Moreover, the notion that Batman did not kill Joker fueled Jason’s rage.
The upset Jason used the Red Hood persona and an elaborate scheme to take down his mentor and the man that killed him. With the criminal activity Jason conducted, he’d be a perfect clandestine villain for Birds of Prey.
