2. Explore the history of the Zeo Crystal

The Zeo Crystal could be the Infinity Stones of the Power Rangers franchise. In some ways, thanks to the 2017 Saban produced film — they already are. In the first movie, Rita tried to capture the crystals and its infinite power. The Power Rangers series documented the power of the Zeo Crystals. They were created by an ancient intergalactic race from the M51 Galaxy who stored them on Earth millenniums ago.

In the movie, they are believed to be the source of life on any planet. If one is removed the planet would cease to exist — Rita’s okay with that. There has to be more to it than that. The simplicity of Rita’s urge to uproot the earth isn’t enough. Elizabeth Banks is amazingly talented but Rita is a villain can only be done so many times.

So, if the Zeo Crystal’s are worth something to her, we imagine it’ll be worth something to other intergalactic beings. Moreover, the Crystals were enchanted by the alien race to ensure evildoers would not harness its powers. Still, it doesn’t mean a bad guy or two wouldn’t try to get their hands on it. Like the TV series, there’s always another big bad who’ll want to get his hands on the Zeo crystals.
