3. Black Panther 2

The introduction of T’Challa in Captain America: Civil War showed why Disney needed to feature Black Panther. Chadwick Bosman jumped off the screen and stole every scene he was in. Ryan Coogler did an excellent job bringing Black Panther to life with an excellent cast and script. The timing for a sequel isn’t an issue at all. In fact, Mc production on the first film started in early 2017 and Black Panther hit theaters in Feb. 2018.

Black Panther’s sequel currently has its writers in Ryan Coogler and Chadwick Boseman which is a step in the right direction. The sequel is said to follow T’Challa settling into his role as king. Something the first film didn’t get to explore. The root of the first film was Killmonger, his story, and philosophy as an anti-villain. The next should explore who T’Challa is as a king and protector of Wakanda. So, Black Panther 2 could begin filming early 2019 with a release date of 2020 — eerily ideal to 2017 and 2018.

The issue for some films is the CGI, one of the few bad spots in Black Panther. Still, even with the iffy CGI the film was critically acclaimed and could be the first to win an Academy Award for the MCU.
