How the DCEU and Justice League could have looked

Lex Luthor – Kevin Spacey

Controversy aside, Spacey was an absolutely amazing Lex Luthor in Superman Returns. He was calculating, criminal, smooth, intimidating and dangerous. Spacey’s Lex was a fast talker but not jittery. What he did to the Fortress of Solitude was genius, however, Superman foiled his plans. There’s no doubt he would have wanted revenge thus forming the Injustice League.

Black Adam – Dwayne Johnson

There’s no way this wouldn’t have happened. The Rock has been attached to the role of Black Adam for years. And we’re willing to bet Warner Bros would have made this happen one way or another. As noted, the studio does a fantastic job casting and thus is just another example.

Riddler – Jesse Eisenberg

Since the Joker was taken, Warner Bros would have cast Eisenberg in a role that suites him better, Ed Nygma. Don’t get me wrong, Eisenberg’s Lex was a product of the old DCEU regime. He does make for a good Lex Luthor especially after seeing him in the Justice League post credit scene. Still, as Riddler he’s perfect, especially in this DCEU.
