DC Comics’ Secret Six is coming to CBS — here’s what you need to know

Catman, Bane and Deadshot
Deadshot of course belongs to the Suicide Squad in the DCEU. He’s also made appearances on Arrow. So, for the sake of being fresh, CBS can replace Deadshot with another Secret Six member, Catman. Thomas Blake is a DC character who fell into obscurity. Blake is a superior fighter who stood toe-to-toe with Batman and Bronze Tiger. The idea of him being depicted in live-action is interesting and works for a network series. Bane is another famous member of Secret Six. While the name brings eyes to the show, it doesn’t exactly need him. Shane West will portray Bane on Gotham, so who knows if he’ll move on to CBS for Secret Six.
As of now, we don’t know which version of Secret Six DC and CBS will bring to life. However, the post Infinite Crisis Secret Six makes for a fantastic show. Unfortunately, writer Gail Simone doesn’t know if CBS will use her version of the team:
Nevertheless, the group of villains assigned to fight against the evil elite is a show we want to see. There are a number of fresh characters and a way to get a unique show on network TV. DC Comics criminals being forced to fight for the greater good would make for a compelling show. In fact, one of the interesting stories is the reveal that Lex Luthor was Mockingbird — how’s that for a big shocker. We got a glimpse of bad guys being heroes with a faux Suicide Squad on Arrow and Gotham City Sirens on Gotham. Now, we can truly have an entire series focusing on heroic DC villains.
