Benjamin Poindexter

Let me be the first to say that his performance was great. Wilson Bethel played every role he was given and should be commended for it. He was so creepy at times I’m certain he made the viewers skin crawl more than a few times.

With that said, Dex was annoying. He was unlike the Bullseye in the comic book. There were times when I rolled my eyes at the things he did. I’ll admit this is my bias from being a comic book fan, but he wasn’t interesting when he was Dex and not in action.

Grade: C

New Benjamin Poindexter

You’re wondering what the difference is. The Dex that we saw in the later episodes was the villain we deserved. It was like once he put the suit on he put on the Daredevil suit, he was a new person. He had a swagger to him that fit like a glove. This goes beyond him being the marksman that doesn’t miss. He was the cynical and funny and obsessive. I can’t wait to see all of this in an entire series.

Grade: Incomplete

I fully expect the next time we see Dex for him to be a whole different person. He will be his own person. No more looking for a person to lean on as security. Dex is going to be one of the best villains we’ve seen in a comic book TV show. Count on it.

Ray Nadeem

I never thought I would see a day where I detested a character as much as this guy. Nadeem being completely unaware of what was happening and the constant lying to his wife was infuriating. Yes, he absolutely served his purpose, but the actor was too believable. An A+ for the actor, but the character gets a different grade.

Grade: D

Whenever Nadeem did anything I couldn’t help but wonder how he didn’t see the writing on the wall. He was just annoying and interrupted the flow of the show at times. Maybe the best part was when he finally made up for all of his mistakes.
