2. Season 3’s prison fight

Besides its great cinematography and amazing storylines, one thing the Daredevil series is known for is for its crazy long-take hallway fight scenes. It all started in season one which raised the bar extremely high, but then in season two the series took it to a whole other level. This time not only was the long-take hallway sequence longer, but Daredevil was in full costume.

Daredevil made hallway fight scenes cool so it wasn’t long until the other Netflix shows started borrowing tricks from the show. Iron Fist and Luke Cage had their share of cool long-take fight scenes, and even The Defenders had one of their own. Nevertheless, the best long-take hallway sequence belongs to Daredevil, particularly in season three.

While looking for information on Kingpin, Matt went to a prison to interrogate an inmate. Little did he know that Kingpin was watching him all along. With complete control over the prison, Kingpin let loose all of the inmates and ordered the prison guards to kill Matt. What followed was the most intense, action-packed sequence ever to air on a Marvel show. Matt had to escape from prison while fighting his way to the exit door. And it was all done in one badass long take.
