8. Nina Dobrev

In case the DCEU wants to roll with an upcoming actress, Nina Dobrev is someone who works. She looks the part of Lois and she has versatility as an actress.  Dobrev’s a long way from her role as Elena Gilbert in CW’s Vampire Diaries. Still, even on TVD, she pulled off some great acting feats. With movies like The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Final Girls, Flatliners, and xXx: Return of Xander Cage — she’s far from an unknown.

Moreover, Dobrev has surprising range. She’s played everything from a scientist to a tech genius, and everything in between. Dobrev will star as Izzy a baggage handler who’ll help a terminally ill kid complete his bucket list — in Then You Came.

7. Evan Rachel Wood

Westworld is a wildly popular show and it’s partly thanks to the amazing work of Evan Rachel Wood (31). Her character, Dolores, allowed for Wood to show off her range. When compared to Lois Lane, Dolores, like Lois is a leader. Her strength lies in her intellect and commanding personality.

Wood received critical praise for her Westworld work but she’s performed in films. I’m fact, one her most critically acclaimed roles came in Thirteen. Into the Forest was another movie that received positive reviews. She’s set to lend her voice to Frozen 2 and will star in an upcoming music drama, Viena and the Fantomes.
