2. Daisy Ridley

The name may raise some eyebrows for the few who haven’t seen Daisy Ridley in Star Wars. As Rey, Ridley embodied every single quality that exist within Lois Lane. She’s received critical praise for her portrayal of the savvy, skilled tough as nails intellect that is the savior, Rey.

Star Wars isn’t the only movie on Ridley’s resume. She showed her range in Ophelia, a movie based on Hamlet. Ridley also played Cotton-Tail’s voice in Peter Rabbit and she’s set to star in the sci-fi film Chaos Walking.

1. Emily Blunt

There’s not a comic book movie fan cast that’s not going his Emily Blunt — for good reason. Blunt is a sensational actress with range and lengthy resume. She’ll garner fans attention just at the sheer mention of her name.

A Quiet Place received critical praise and so has Marry Poppins. Back to back critically acclaimed films is proof of her greatness.

Blunt would make Lois Lane a bigger name than she already is. It’ll give the DCEU an opportunity to explore the fierce depths of her character. The daughter of a military man, headstrong, and willing to go to great lengths to get a story. Let’s get Blunt in the DCEU before it’s too late.

With the prowess of Superman, Lois needs to feel just as powerful. Whether it’s Henry Cavill or someone different — Blunt will make Lois Lane great.  Of course, it would help if there were plans for a Superman film.
