It stars Jason Momoa

Jason Momoa made a name for himself in Game of Thrones playing Khal Drogo. He was a brute and ruthless man of very few words. When Momoa appeared in Justice League, his popularity took off. He made Aquaman look cool when people thought the character was terrible. He didn’t just look tough, he made Aquaman look like he was having fun. He could smile in the middle of an end of the world scenario. I don’t know how many people could have pulled this of as well as he did.

More than that, Momoa looks like he’s genuinely having the time of his life right now. He goes to comic book conventions and takes silly and funny pictures with fans, talks to young kids, and genuinely seems to care about his audience and his reputation. There was also the Haka dance he did at the movie premiere. More than that, he’s proud of his culture and loves his family. It’s rare to see an actor so honest and raw without it looking staged.

People are going to see this movie specifically because he seems like a good person. It also helps that he is super attractive. If people ran out to see Magic Mike, they’ll rush to see this.
