There is a rumor going around that The Seven Deadly Sins could appear in the Shazam! movie.

There is apparent confirmation coming from SuperBroMovies that a sinister group known as The Seven Deadly Sins are rumored to make an appearance in the live-action Shazam! movie.

Also known as the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man, they are demons known as Pride, Envy, Greed, Wrath, Sloth, Gluttony and Lust, who made their first appearance in Whiz Comics No.2. The same issue both Shazam (formerly Captain Marvel) and Dr. Sivana made their debut.

The Sins were captured by the wizard Shazam (not to be confused with the superhero) captured the demons many years ago and placed them in statues known as the Rock of Eternity.

A couple years back in 2017, Geeks WorldWide revealed the existence of audition tapes that had alluded to The Sins. They were clips that featured actors reading for the part of Billy Batson and the Wizard. Warner Bros. has since removed those clips from the public eye. SuperBroMovies has made it clear that audition tapes do not always bear a connection to the final film.

As for The Sins, from the report, they stated the group will resemble a lot more like their New 52 counterparts. Geoff Johns, a writer/producer plus the founder of Mad Ghost Productions has contributed to the Shazam! comic for DC Comics in the New 52. What is known is that Shazam (Zachary Levi) will face Dr. Sivana (Mark Strong) in the motion picture also produced by New Line Cinema.
