There is an image that had been taken of a costume by Anna Diop’s Starfire on Titans that is on DC Daily.
Leaked set photos, racial vitriol, fan backlash and a persistent actress just committing to a job that is required of her. That is all that sums up the reaction toward the live-action portrayal of Starfire on Titans. However, we do get a better look at the costume worn by Anna Diop on DC Universe’s DC Daily.
A fan via Reddit (h/t Heroic Hollywood) posted an image of the costume for Starfire from the set of DC Daily. The design has some resemblances to the outfits worn by the Tamaranean princess – minus the fur coat. There is a magenta wig with curls like the character’s earlier appearances. There is a purple dress with embroidered markings over it.

While most of the backlash was directed at Diop, who in Titans, is at first known as Kory Anders then her Tamaranean name, Koriand’r, in the penultimate episode of Titans, moreover the fact she lacks an orange complexion. This only seems to happen when she transforms or displays her extraterrestrial abilities.
While still up for debate, the costume Diop wore is admittedly better presented on screen as opposed to set photos and no doubt the VFX improved between the release of the trailer and the show. Also, leaked photos did present Starfire (Diop) and Raven (Teagan Croft) in outfits more accurate to the comics. Whether this was photos of an episode during films that has since been removed or not, is unclear, but the former could be the case.
