Marvel announces new Black Cat comic book

Marvel Comics has announced a new ongoing series for the character Black Cat. Here is everything we know.
Black Cat is getting her very own ongoing series, which will mainly focus on her adventures. Thanks to a report from Comicbook.com, there is some new information about the comic. Coming ahead are spoilers for the upcoming series, so read at your own risk!
Fans can expect the new Black Cat solo series to arrive in June 2019. Here is the official description for the upcoming comic, Marvel’s Black Cat:

From the description above, it is confirmed that this takes after the events of Amazing Spider-Man issues No. 10 and 11, in which she and Spidey teamed up to get back all the stolen items from the Thieves of Guild. The description also states that we will be finding out a secret from Black Cat’s past, along her fighting against the Thieves of Guild and the police. It would also be great to see Spider-Man appear in this comic, he and Black Cat make such a good team.

If the story is well written and handled properly, this series could actually be really good, since Black Cat’s appearances in the issues of Amazing Spider-Man were fabulous. Additionally, she will still appear in future issues including issue 16 and “The Hunted” story arc. Black Cat is an amazing character, and for her to get a new ongoing series, is everything a fan could hope for, if it is well written. Fans will have to wait to find out how good Nao Fuji’s story of the feline antihero is.
