Avengers: Endgame trailer reunites the team and reopens the past
The latest Avengers: Endgame trailer dropped on Thursday, March 14. What did this clip feature?
While Captain Marvel only hit theaters on March 7 for previews, Marvel Studios still has its grandest movie yet to promote: Avengers: Endgame. The sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes must save the world, after the fallout from the battle with Thanos.
Clips previously dropped for Endgame, which teased its potential events. However, on Thursday, Marvel dropped a surprise two-minute trailer that revealed even more of the film, without including too much information.
This trailer raised an intriguing concept, as well as featured one of the newest Avengers, and it has fans of the MCU buzzing.
While the trailer doesn’t officially confirm this, the black and white backgrounds suggest the heroes will time travel. Thor is seen with Odin and a visual of a still standing Asgard is shown. Visuals of the 1940s are shown, with Captain America walking a casket down an aisle. Is that Steve Rogers carrying himself or Bucky Barnes?

Perhaps the other intriguing part of this trailer, Tony Stark, and all the Avengers, are reunited at the end of this trailer, white suit and all. Why? This clip did not reveal such.
However, Stark went from stranded and alone to open the trailer, just like the previous one. How does he escape? Will someone help?
Where is Thanos amid this? Nebula is shown angry and seemingly confronting someone or something. Given her family ties with the Mad Titan, is she trying to take him on alone?
For those who watched the entire trailer, Captain Marvel appeared near the end. Only seven days after her origin film arrived, it seems Marvel felt that was long enough to introduce her to audiences.
There is much to digest from this Avengers: Endgame trailer, as the heroes reunite and venture towards the unknown. Even while this trailer showcased ample footage from Marvel Studios’ next blockbuster, it left questions. Everything will receive an answer on Friday, April 26.
