Netflix welcomes Lucifer and a new character in new season four promo
Lucifer, Chloe and Eve take over the Netflix set in a new promo released by the streaming service. Here’s what it all means.
Oh, how time flies. It’s no overstatement that it’s been an eternity since we’ve heard from Lucifer. Last we heard from our favorite devilish detective was back in 2018 when the show was cancelled by Fox and then brought back to life by Netflix. The Lucifer community got a glimpse of what’s to come when the Lucifer Writers Room tweeted a photo of episode 401’s script. The first episode of season four will premiere on Netflix, but it’s still unknown if the full season will also be available to stream from the get-go. Nevertheless, we still don’t even know when the show will make its Netflix debut, but we finally have a new promo that firmly places Lucifer Morningstar in the Netflix streaming-verse, even more, with a new character coming along for the ride:
As seen in the promotional clip, Eve (as in Adam and Eve, original sin), will be stopping by Los Angeles to have a little chat with the Devil. It seems, though, that her adventures in the City of Angels will also tangle her up with Chloe. And going by the promo, perhaps a love triangle between Lucifer, Chloe and Eve is about to take center stage in season four.

The promo also gave us a short taste of the show’s new overall feel on the streaming service. A lot of Netflix shows tend to up the ante when it comes to mature content, and it’s looking like Lucifer will play with such freedoms in this new season. However, it’s likely that all Lucifans want to know is how Chloe and Lucifer will interact now that his heavenly secret is out. But of course, to all Tom Ellis fans out there, the Netflix acquisition and all that’s included with that has probably made those fans extra happy.
We can’t wait for Lucifer to take over Netflix, and this promo has got us immensely excited. Tell us what you most want to see in season four of Lucifer in the comments below!
