Gert and Nico used to lock horns over which of them was the “leader” of the team. It was that chaos that Alex usually capitalized him since, despite his moral ambiguity, Wilder’s a natural leader. Now while Gert is still very much who she always was, she’s awoken in a world where both Nico and Chase are the team’s elders now and thus leaders by default. While Gert wants to engage Molly like a teenager would — since she still is one — Nico advocates giving her space.

And then there’s Gib. He’s the last survivor of the Gibborim, and he hungers. Like Galactus, he’ll tell this to everyone within range of him, whether they want to hear it or not. And despite being a young god who arguably could spar with Thor or Hercules, Gib is essentially an infant who can’t or won’t feed himself. The Gibborim fed on the energy of human souls, not donuts! Chase tries to teach him how to eat, and Gib simply doesn’t get it. Yet there Gib sits, since he has nowhere else to go.
