Who is Riri Williams/Ironheart?
Before suiting up as Ironheart, Riri Williams was known for her intellectual prowess. Because of her unparalleled genius, Riri was accepted into M.I.T.
At the age of 13, while on a picnic with her family tragedy struck. Riri’s bestfriend, Natalie Washington and her stepfather were shot and killed during a drive by shooting, an event that led Riri down her heroic path.

Riri would eventually use stolen pieces of metal from old Iron Man suites to construct one of her own. While traveling the world on test flights, she stopped two New Mexico convicts that escaped from prison. Her heroic antics were soon discovered by her mother and Tony Stark.
If any of this sounds familiar to MCU fans it should. Some of her comic book’s arc was used for Spider-Man’s MCU introduction. In the pages of Marvel Comics, Iron Man discovered Riri’s heroics and recruited her to fight in the (second) Civil War.
In the comics, Stark fell into a coma and Riri used his A.I. in a suit to help guide her. Like Tony used Jarvis, Riri would use Tony in her fight against evil. She’d go on to help SHIELD and join a group of young heroes, Kamala Khan, Miles Morales, and more called the Champions.
As far as who Kevin Feige could cast as Riri Williams, well, that’s hard to tell. But, the actress in question will likely be between 18-20 based on what they did with Spider-Man: Homecoming’s cast. Here’s who we have in mind in no particular order.
