Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far From Home received a terrific score from Rotten Tomatoes, painting a positive picture for the end of Phase 3.

Spider-Man: Far From Home had its official premiere on Wednesday, unveiling the latest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the final one of Phase 3, or the Infinity Saga. It takes Peter Parker and his friends around the world for an adventure, different than the heavy Avengers films that just released over the last 14 months.

A film’s reception after its premiere can impact how viewers walk into the theater upon the worldwide release. Poor initial reactions may deter moviegoers from even spending the money.

However, Far From Home will not have that problem, at least according to its Rotten Tomatoes score of 91 percent.

91 percent, if it stays, ties it with Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: Civil War for fourth place in the MCU’s film history. Black Panther, Avengers: Endgame, Iron Man, The Avengers, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok either hold or are tied for the first three spots, ranging from 90 to 96 percent.

That puts Far From Home in a positive spot. Of course, reactions from viewers will vary, but the critical response should help the early July launch, which happens just days before Independence Day domestically.

What garnered this outcome? That remains to be seen, but it may spell well for the plot and whatever surprises arrive along the way.
