Michelle (Zendaya) catches a ride from Spider-Man in Columbia Pictures’ SPIDER-MAN: ™ FAR FROM HOME.

Scorpion

The first credits scene ends with Spider-Man finishing up his swing with MJ. He’s happy with everything that was going on in his life, which as any Spider-Man fan knew, couldn’t last (thanks, Parker Luck). Just as Spidey is about to swing off, a new report comes in, showcasing an altered video that the people working with Mysterio had sent to the Daily Bugle, which made it look like Spider-Man was the one who tried to destroy Europe and that he even killed Mysterio.

J. Jonah Jameson (played by the iconic J.K. Simmons) announced this news. That’s not the worst part. Before Mysterio died, he let the world know that Peter Parker was Spider-Man! This means we could be getting a couple of classic Spidey villains in the future.

The introduction of Jameson could mean the Scorpion. In the comics (Amazing Spider-Man No.19), Jameson hired a private investigator named Mac Gargon to snoop around Peter. After Gargon’s investigation failed, he was experimented on and turned into the Scorpion (Amazing Spider-Man No. 20). In the MCU, Mac Gargan is currently in prison, but Jameson could get him out of prison in order for him to investigate Spider-Man and unmask him.

It’s not far-fetched that he’d be released from prison to be used as a guinea pig.
