The Flash and the Green Arrow are getting brand new outfits this season, and stars Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell have taken to social media to unveil them.

It goes without saying that 2019 is going to be a major year for the Arrowverse.

Not only will the show responsible for making it all happen, Arrow, bid us all farewell with a 10-episode final season, Batwoman will make her debut and, perhaps most importantly of all, the long-teased and highly-anticipated five-show crossover Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover will forever change the landscape of the shared universe.

Of course, it’s only fitting that a year as major as this brings out the best in our favorite heroes. As a result, both of the Arrowverse’s headlining stars, The Flash/Barry Allen and Green Arrow/Oliver Queen have received brand new costumes.

The new suits are featured in an exclusive photoshoot by Entertainment Weekly, which brings The Flash, Green Arrow, Supergirl, Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow‘s White Canary together, in the largest Arrowverse photoshoot yet.

However, the Scarlet Speedster himself, Grant Gustin officially unveiled a sneak peek of his suit to his fans on social media by sharing one of the covers of the EW magazine. Check it out below:

As Gustin notes, the cowl has yet to appear so, by the sounds of things, we could end up getting something quite different to the Season 5 redesign – but it certainly looks like an improvement thus far.

He wasn’t alone, however, in voicing his excitement for the new era of the Arrowverse, as the Green Arrow himself, Stephen Amell, also took to social media to share the first sneak peek of his final Arrow suit.

This looks like more of a streamlined version of the original Arrow suit from the first three seasons, although it has been slightly modified to match the modern look of the later suits.

Undoubtedly impressive sights, they aren’t the only ones to receive a wardrobe update as both Supergirl and The Flash‘s Killer Frost are donning brand new threads in the upcoming new seasons of their respective shows.

You can check out the full look at the suits (and the entire Arrowverse photoshoot) over on Entertainment Weekly’s website now.
