A professional wrestler is not always the most ideal candidate to hand over a key role in a major movie franchise like the MCU – unless their name is Dwayne Johnson of course – but The Rock’s cousin, Roman Reigns, could make a great Kraven.

Reigns recently returned to the WWE after a battle with leukaemia, but he has stated that acting is the next challenge in his life. In fact, he even appears alongside his cousin in Hobbs & Shaw.

As far as looks go, Reigns is almost everything you’d expect Kraven to look like, from his build to his hair. Reigns is of Samoan heritage which is a far cry from a Russian backstory, but there are liberties that can be taken and I think that the physicality and presence that Reigns would bring to the role would make up for the drastic change.

The size, savagery, and screen presence is what puts Reigns on this list and with all that he still has to prove I think that the fanbase that follows him will help lift him to this stage and allow him to be in strong consideration if Kevin Feige and Jon Watts believe he has the chops to take on the task.

Of the actors on this list, Reigns is the most unproven and probably of the lowest pedigree but we’re not trying to win an Oscar with this role, we want to see someone who is able to manhandle Spider-Man and bring intimidation to the film.
