MCU: 10 actors that could hunt Spider-Man as Kraven in ‘Far From Home’ sequel
5. Jeffrey Dean Morgan
Source: AMC/The Walking Dead
Age: 53
Height: 6’1
There aren’t many menacing characters that Morgan doesn’t find himself attached to these days. He went from the beloved Denny on Grey’s Anatomy to the hated and ruthless Negan on The Walking Dead. No one is able to question the man’s range as an actor and whether or not he’d be able to pull off a villainous role like Kraven.
The similarities between Kraven and Negan are there to be found. Both command a certain respect from allies and foes alike while also showing off bloodthirsty tendencies in a charm that can unsettle most kind-hearted people.

Playing a villain is not easy, many actors attempt and many fail. It takes a special kind of performer to be able to convey such contemptuous emotions and elicit vile feelings from an audience while also giving off a slight charm to make the character enjoyable to watch on-screen. That is exactly what Morgan was able to do with Negan and it would come no harder with Kraven the Hunter.
He has received two roles from Marvel rival DC in the form of Watchmen’s Comedian and Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice’s Thomas Wayne. While he looked a great Thomas Wayne, the character obviously doesn’t get much screen time. His Comedian was probably the most mesmerizing part of Watchmen, however. Neither role reaches the same level as a lead villain role in an MCU film and I think Morgan has paid his dues to the comic book genre to be given this chance.
