Wolverine anchors the House of M arc

From Wanda’s ability, a new reality arises. The major arc follows Wolverine, who awakes to his wife, Mystique. He immediately recognizing that the reality he’s currently in isn’t his reality, or anyone else’s for that matter. In this alternate reality, Marvel characters have their deepest desires came to fruition.

For example, Peter Parker is married to Gwen Stacy and Uncle Ben is alive. Another sees Steve Rogers as a 100-year old man after never being frozen. However, the most impactful change sees the mutant population as the majority, with Magneto as the face of the mutant regime.

Believing Magneto used Wanda, Wolverine sets out to find some help. After taking an arrow to the head from the formerly deceased Clint (Hawkeye), Wolverine discovers he has an ally. In fact, Clint is just one of three people who know House of M isn’t their reality.

The only other person is an omniscient girl, Delilah,whose knowledge about the true nature of the world is a mystery. The three of them eventually convince Luke Cage.

Emma Frost would discover the truth through telepathy. Her husband, Cyclops,f isn’t convinced until she shows him the truth. It’s soon realized that Emma Frost holds the key to changing things.
