Before the final season of Arrow comes to a close, Stephen Amell promises Oliver will get unexpected closure with at least five past characters.

After eight seasons, Arrow — the series that single handedly launched a television empire  known as the Arrowverse — will bid its final farewell as the adventures of Oliver Queen come to a close. With seven season of history and only ten episodes left, there are a lot of loose ends to tie up before the show’s curtain call; however, Stephen Amell promises closure is indeed on the horizon.

As the show looks to play its greatest hits in honoring its legacy, the Arrow writers will look to give fans as much closure as possible – even in the most unlikely of places.

"“I feel like in the first three episodes, Oliver has closure with five characters, that I don’t know that we ever thought that he would get closure with,” Arrow leading man Stephen Amell promises of the final season."

Although details regarding the identities of these mystery characters remains unclear, Amell disclosed that the closure will occur in unexpected ways. This seems to allude to closure with characters who may very well have met their demise. After all, we do know both Colin Donnell and Josh Segarra will be returning in Season 8, making Tommy and Adrian prime candidates to be among those Oliver receives closure with.

"“[This closure occurs] in very unexpected ways,” Amell elaborated. “Maybe they don’t know, but he knows. And, you know, he’s left a lot of loose ends along the way. And I hope that over the course of the year, we’re going to tie as many up as possible.”"
