1. Team Flash Learns That The Crisis Is Closer Than Ever

Look at those faces. Yeah, Team Flash might initially seem like they’re in for a happier season this year, but the above photos suggest that they’re about to make a much darker revelation.

Barry and Iris can be seen with serious expressions on their faces as they stare at something ahead of them and, while that might seem rather ambiguous (given that literally anything can happen on The Flash), it’s the setting that also gives this one away.

The West-Allens are standing in the middle of Dr. Wells’ once-secret Time Vault which, as we all know by now, houses Gideon and all of her artificial intelligence – aritificial intelligence that is able to conjure up a certain newspaper from a certain future about a certain Crisis. You see where we’re going with this?

Since The Flash began, that future newspaper article was essentially a forewarning of Barry’s eventual disappearance in the Crisis as it was published by Iris West-Allen in 2024. However, as last season’s teaser scene revealed, Nora’s meddling with the timeline caused the date to change – utlimately bringing the Crisis forward to 2019. And, as we all know, Crisis On Infinite Earths will indeed serve as this season’s Arrowverse crossover.

The Crisis is coming in 2019. You know it. I know it. All that’s left is for Team Flash to discover it. And judging by the new image, that’s exactly what Barry and Iris are going to do in the premiere.
