Joaquin Phoenix prepares to make the world laugh in final Joker trailer
Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker exacts revenge on Gotham City in the film’s final trailer, and you can check it out here!
It’s safe to say that Joker is easily one of this year’s most eagerly-anticipated films.
The upcoming film stars Joaquin Phoenix and is a unique interpretation of the origin story of the most iconic comic book villain of all time, The Joker. And after the first trailer was released a few months back, it’s clear that we’re in for something that we’ve never seen before.
Adopting a more realistic approach, Joker is more of a psychological thriller than anything else and tells the story of failed comedian Arthur Fleck, who ends up being driven to insanity and embarks on a life of crime and terror in Gotham City. It is very much a standalone story and is not in any way tied to the DCEU.
However, with the film almost upon us, the folks at Warner Bros. have released another trailer in order to get fans even more excited (if that’s even possible) and you can check it out below:
As we saw in the previous trailer, this one also highlights the movie’s gritty approach which, in all honesty, sets it apart from any other film in its genre.
There’s something artistic about it that almost makes it impossible to look away – and if we got all that from the trailer, can you imagine what we’re going to take away from the whole film?

Speculation has already begun that both the film and Joaquin Phoenix could find themselves cleaning up during awards season.
