Supreme Leader Snoke reveals the one Jedi he is fearful of
Supreme Leader Snoke revealed one enemy from the Jedi he feared. Beware of spoilers from Star Wars: Age of Resistance – Supreme Leader Snoke No.1.
Marvel Comics recently released Star Wars: Age of Resistance – Supreme Leader Snoke No.1 from Injustice: Gods Among Us writer Tom Taylor and Dark X-Men artist, Leonard Kirk. After the New Republic was overthrown by the new generation of Dark Side forces led under the rule of Supreme Leader Snoke, a new war has been waged. Snoke, a Force-sensitive user and ruler of the First Order, is not a member of the Sith, despite his knowledge of Bogan the dark side of the Force.
Brief history lesson aside, Snoke, during the events displayed in Star Wars: AOR – S.L. Snoke No.1, revealed one opponent, in particular, he would not wish to duel – Luke Skywalker – son of the great and revered Anakin Skywalker, otherwise known as the Sith Lord Darth Vader. Luke is also the uncle of Ben Solo/Kylo Ren.
During the issue, Snoke had demonstrated extreme and unorthodox methods of tutorship towards Kylo Ren. CBR even stated his curriculum is harsher than that of Darth Sidious. "“He has earned my respect… and my fear. He is not weak. He is misguided. If I had your uncle by my side instead of you, the Galaxy would have been mine a long time ago.”"
Given the timeline in which this issue of the comic is set in, it takes place sometime before the attack on Tuanul, displayed before the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Snoke, at this point, has already corrupted his young apprentice. Snoke, of course, met his end in the film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, at the hands of Kylo Ren after Rey confronted the Supreme Leader.
Snoke did not mince words, not one bit. The fact that he fears Luke Skywalker is hardly a surprise, but to admit his genuine concern with Kylo Ren around is quite interesting, especially when he almost reveres the Jedi Master. His apprentice seemed to share other opinions, calling his uncle “weak” at which has been immediately refuted.
