Spider-Man: Far From Home – 6 ways it hinted at Talos and Soren’s presence
4. Calling Out Peter for Wanting to Protect His Friends
One of the many things Fury is known for is believing in his superhero charges. However, when he, Peter, and Beck are planning on how to handle the Fire Elemental, Peter tells Nick that his friends are close by and doesn’t want them to get hurt.

Fury calls him out for not having his head in the game and tells him that he’s too concerned for those he cares about to focus on the mission. He also calls Peter out on accidentally having drones target Brad while he was on the bus. Fury also says that Tony entrusted his protégé with tech worth millions of dollars and that he wasn’t ready to take on the role Stark thought he was.
Additionally, Hill just stands there and watches. Though it’s clear she’s not sure whether her superior is right or wrong to tell the kid off.
5. Throwing Fury Under the Beck Bus
After Beck is killed on the bridge, Happy checks in with Fury and Hill. The former says he had concerns about Mysterio being crooked. But Hill counters his statement, saying he had zero doubts. Since her debut in the first Avengers movie, Hill has served as Fury’s second-in-command. However, she would never call him out. This is something Soren would say to her husband.
This is made clear in the post-credits scene where it was is finally revealed that Fury and Hill were Talos and Soren the entire time.
6. That’s Some Major [Insert Expletive Here]!
During the final battle, Beck contacts Fury about fighting the Elementals. After a moment, Mysterio returns to the communications channel and delivers something about the creatures drawing energy from the Earth’s core.
A second later, Fury talks to Hill and says, “Now that is some… bulls***.” (We won’t repeat that last word in a family-friendly article.) If you listen carefully and have seen Captain Marvel, this is definitely something Talos would say. He’s all about sarcasm.
Conclusion
Spider-Man: Far From Home is a massive joy to watch. The idea that it’s not Fury and Hill in the film is something we’d never considered until we saw the movie. It’s a great concept to have everyone’s favourite Skrulls play a role without the characters and the audience realizing it. But does this mean it’s been Talos and Soren the whole time? Only time will tell.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is now available on Digital HD, as well as on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.
