Batwoman: 5 burning questions from season 1, episode 1
4. When Will Kate Don The Red Wig?
Batwoman’s appearance in the comics is quite unique – mainly because her all-black Batsuit also happens to contain a lot of red: Red emblem, red utility belt and red lipstick. However, the most recognisable part of her whole suit is, without a doubt, her red wig.
The character made her debut last year in Elseworlds when she showed up sporting one of the Arrowverse’s most comic-accurate outfits ever. However, as the pilot is technically set before that crossover, it’s understandable that she didn’t adopt her final look immediately.
That being said, it has left us wondering how long will we have to wait until she dons the iconic red wig.
3. How Will The Show Skip Forward A Year?
Knowing that Kate crosses paths with Oliver Queen, Barry Allen and Kara Danvers in Elseworlds creates a problem for the narrative of the show simply because that crossover took place last year. That timing would, at the very least, place the pilot episode of Batwoman sometime last year as well.
Thus, we have to wonder how the writers will manage to skip towards Elseworlds and then past it in order to catch the character up to the present-day timeline so that she can take part in this year’s Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover. As it’s her debut season, it would preferable if they didn’t skip too much of her rookie hero days, but just what is the alternative?
