10. Harley Quinn

Yes, the show is called DC Super Hero High. The conflict in this show appears to be the typical high school drama affair. It’s probably unlikely that the students at this school will come across a supervillain of the week to deal with.

However, the modern age has changed Harley Quinn into more of an antihero rather than a pure villain like her “puddin,” the Joker. The upcoming Birds of Prey movie is exploring the idea of Harley Quinn as an antihero where she dumps the Joker to do what she wants with her life.

This show needs recognizable characters to sell for a casual audience, and there is no character as well known as Harley Quinn. This is purely anecdotal, but you can frequently see some type of Harley Quinn cosplay at a comic book convention or people dressing up as her for Halloween.

Harley Quinn doesn’t need to be her eccentric self the whole time. She was, in fact, a psychologist before she came across the Clown Prince of Crime. This could be something to explore with the character.

Perhaps she has a split personality where at times she is her extroverted self but at other times, she shows off her intellect.
