Why is Lily Rabe the perfect pick?

Lily Rabe has provided some incredible moments in American Horror Story. Sometimes she was the best part and didn’t receive the credit she deserved. Her role as Stevie Nicks in the American Horror Story: Coven season is a good example. As Nix, she played a range of emotions throughout. Although, she was more optimistic than sadistic. The role that proves that she could play a villain like Moonstone is in American Horror Story: Asylum. Rabe played Sister Mary Eunice, a once polite and kind nun who was later possessed by the devil.

Lily Rabe was downright monstrous in this season. It makes sense. Rabe was playing a person possessed by an entity known for being one of the worst in all creation. What makes this so special is watching the transformation. At first, Sister Mary Eunice was shy and conservative. And ouut of nowhere, she became an overly sexual woman who was fine with killing and torture. All things that Moonstone is OK with. It’s funny watching her try to do good deeds. They usually only happen when she’s forced to, looking for revenge, or if she’s getting something out of it. Rabe will be able to do this with ease.
