Comic book characters who should be thankful this holiday season

The World for Mera
Comic book project: Aquaman
Without Mera, the world would have had a devastating war. Had she not got Arthur (Aquaman) into the middle of this and put him on the throne of Atlantis, the rulers of the sea would have attacked the surface, leading the countries of the world to retaliate. This may have ended with nuclear strikes, the seas being void of life, or the world being flooded. Thank Mera for not having to live in a world that was ruined by Ocean Master.
Peter B. Parker and Miles Morales’ for Their Relationship
Comic book project: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
This is the only one on this list that’s more sentimental than anything. Peter B. Parker and Miles’ relationship was heartwarming. Both of them gained a lot from meeting each other. Peter became a teacher, and helping Miles become better gave him the courage to go back to Mary Jane and maybe have kids. Miles gained a teacher. He learned to have more faith in himself through Peter’s tough love. If not for Peter, Miles wouldn’t have become Spider-Man.
This was one of the best mentor-mentee relationships in a comic book project. It wasn’t just a loving relationship; it was hilarious as well. At first, neither of them knew what they were doing. They crashed and burned a lot but, as time went on, they figured it out. There was a lot of fumbling along the way, but they made it. They’ll be grateful for each other if the Inheritors show up.
