Danielle Radcliffe may be one of the actors Marvel Studios is looking at for the role of Marc Spector in Moon Knight.

Production is well underway on Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight, and the studio could start filling out the cast soon. Marvel hasn’t given too much indication as to who they’re looking to cast in the lead role of Marc Spector. However, a new report suggests that a certain A-list star is in the running.

According to Full Circle Cinema, not only could Marvel Studios starting casting soon, but they’re also looking at Daniel Radcliffe to potentially play Marc Spector:

"“Casting for Marvel Studio’s upcoming Moon Knight may soon be underway. Daniel Radcliffe is one of the actors Kevin Feige and Co. are considering for the role of Marc Spector in the upcoming Disney+ series, Full Circle Cinema has learned.”"

Spector, the alter ego of Moon Knight, came into contact with the spirit of the ancient moon god, Khonshu, during an archaeological dig. Aside from his heroics as Moon Knight, Spector also suffers from multiple personality disorder, having created the aliases of Steven Grant and Jack Lockley as well.

Daniel Radcliffe has made a name for himself within both the film and TV landscapes, with his breakthrough role being his portrayal of the titular character in the Harry Potter franchise (in case you weren’t aware). Since the conclusion of the Potter series, Radcliffe has ventured into other roles spanning various genres. Some of his standout performances have come from films like The Woman in Black and Imperium, along with the TBS anthology series Miracle Workers.

Given his diverse body of work, there’s no doubt Radcliffe has the acting chops for the part. His casting would also line up with Marvel’s desire to cast an actor of Jewish descent, as Spector is the son of a Jewish-American rabbi. Watching him tackle the mental health aspects of the character could also be interesting.

Official casting news for Moon Knight is unlikely to happen anytime soon but, with one name possibly in the mix, the process could start very soon.
