Oklahoma City Thunder
Before they were the Thunder, they were the Seattle Supersonics and they had a duo that rocked the league for years. “The Reign Man” Shawn Kemp and “The Glove” Gary Payton terrorized the everyone they played. Payton is the only person who talked more trash than Reggie Miller. He’d run his mouth, defensively lock his opponents down, and talk even more. Shawn Kemp was death from the sky. He would fly through the air and flush a dunk down on anyone. Together, they perfected the alley-oop.
The Supersonics ended up drafting Kevin Durant. He’s the most gifted scorer we’ve seen in a long time. A near seven-foot forward who can destroy anyone from anywhere on the court. Without Durant, the Oklahoma City Thunder wouldn’t have been as good.
Wanda Maximoff
Wanda Maximoff and Kevin Durant have a huge thing in common: Both of them are among the most dangerous people in their field and are people no one wants to go up against.
Durant has led the league in scoring with little effort. Even when he didn’t he was still around the top five. Wanda is the biggest weapon the Avengers have and they don’t even know it. We saw how scared Thanos was when she attacked him. If he didn’t order his ship to attack, she would have killed him.
Kevin Durant continues to show people that he’s better than anyone knows. When he went to Golden State, he took his game to another level by becoming a defensive stopper. It’s a scary thought that we haven’t seen the best of Wanda yet. Just imagine when she takes another giant leap like Durant did.
