Deadpool 3: 11 Characters that should debut or return

Deadpool 3 is happening, but which characters should return and which Marvel characters should debut?
Anyone who’s a fan of Deadpool shouldn’t be shocked at his franchise’s success. The character has all the elements to make fun and popular movies. He’s funny, deep, and action-packed. An added bonus was the R-rating – which made for a nice change from the PG-13 comic book movies.
After Disney acquired the X-Men properties, the future of the Deadpool franchise was unclear. But good news, everyone! It was recently announced that Deadpool 3 is happening. While on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Ryan Reynolds confirmed,
"“Yeah we’re working on it right now with the whole team. We’re over at Marvel [Studios] now, which is like the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kinda crazy. So yeah, we’re working on it.”"
More good news for Wade Wilson fans: Disney CEO Bob Iger has promised to keep the Merc with a Mouth R-rated. All of the signs are pointing to Deadpool continuing to be a major part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future. Considering how beloved he is, this shouldn’t shock anyone. He’s almost a license to print money. It’s not just him though – he couldn’t have done it without his supporting cast.

Characters like Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead were crucial parts of of this franchise. No one could have predicted that Negasonic would be as good as she ultimately was. Colossus has also been great – his wholesome personality makes him a perfect addition to these raunchy movies, and quite frankly, they may not have been as good without either of them.
With that in mind, there are more characters that should return for Deadpool 3 – as well as some that should make their debut.
Yes, we all want Wolverine in a Deadpool movie, but the new characters on this list will be more obscure than typical Marvel favorites like Wolverine and Steve Rogers.
