Bloodshot: Everything you need to know about Vin Diesel’s violent superhero
What about the other characters?
The titular character of this movie is an intriguing dude, and Vin Diesel is a charismatic actor, but he’s undoubtedly going to need some support. Luckily, Bloodshot has a great cast of supporting stars.
Rather interestingly, the majority of them will be original characters, created specifically for the movie.
Ray Garrison’s late wife, Gina DeCarlo – one of the only characters other than Ray who comes from the comic books – will be played by Talulah Riley, who you may remember from the likes of Pride & Prejudice, St. Trinian’s, The Boat That Rocked and Inception.

Guy Pearce – the Memento and Prometheus star, and an actor who’s already played a supervillain in the form Iron Man 3’s Aldrich Killian – will be playing original character Dr. Emil Harting, the devious scientist responsible for creating the technology that transforms Ray Garrison into a living weapon.
The villainous “Axe” also seems to have been created specifically for the movie, and he’ll be played by Toby Kebbell. Kebbell will be looking to make amends for his previous portrayal of a supervillain, when he played a horrendous version of Doctor Doom in Fant4stic – which could lead to a brilliant performance from the actor who’s also appeared in the likes of Dead Man’s Shoes, War Horse and Gold.
Other actors with confirmed roles in the movie include Lamorne Morris (New Girl) who’ll be playing scientist Wilfred Wigans, Sam Heughan (Outlander) who’ll be playing soldier Jimmy Dalton, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson (Game of Thrones) who’ll be playing a character called Nick Baris.
Essentially, Bloodshot will feature an intriguing cast of acting talent playing some equally intriguing characters. It should be a lot of fun.
