What about his Heralds?

One of the few things Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer actually got right was the titular Herald of Galactus.

Voiced by Laurence Fishburne and performed by the brilliant Doug Jones, the Silver Surfer AKA Norrin Radd was a great character – so we’d really just expect more of the same in the MCU.

Ideally though, we’d like to see more than just one in the franchise. Wouldn’t it be cool, for example, if Galactus had a plan to devour several planets and the likes of the Surfer, Terrax, Firelord and Air-Walker were seen preparing said planets for their master?

Heck, it would add a new dynamic to the franchise if Galactus was to recruit an existing MCU character to join his team of Heralds. Thor (pictured), for example, has been a servant of the powerful cosmic entity in the comic books – and it would certainly spice things up if he was sent to prepare Earth to become the big guy’s lunch.

Granted, it would be out of character for Chris Hemsworth’s character, but sometimes Galactus doesn’t give his recruits much choice over the matter!

Next. Tom Ellis is the perfect pick to play Doctor Doom. dark

In the same way we saw the likes of Loki, the Other and Ronan before we saw much of Thanos in the MCU, seeing Galactus’ Heralds in the franchise would be the perfect way to build him up – perhaps over the course of several movies prior to his big entrance – and we’d certainly trust Marvel Studios to get the powerful beings right.

Here’s hoping Galactus makes his presence felt in the MCU sooner rather than later!
