Want to know more about the Void?

So yeah, Robert Reynolds projects an entity as a dark side effect of his powers – the entity known as the Void – and it’s said that for every benevolent act he performs as the Sentry, the Void corresponds with a counteraction of malevolence.

The Void is incredibly powerful.

It essentially possesses all the powers of the Sentry (but… darker?), as well as having deadly “infini-tendrils” that can attack a target’s mind.

Its physical appearance changes. Sometimes, it’s a shadowy, trench-coat-wearing villain, while other times it’s a huge hurricane of pure darkness, for example.

The powers it uses are often dependent on its form – for instance, it has a flame form that breathes fire, and an armoured monster form with super strength and durability even greater than normal.

Having a superhero in the MCU with such a powerful, evil dark side would be extremely interesting, and the Void could very easily replace Thanos as the new big-bad of the franchise – we’re talking about an entity that literally broke every bone in the Hulk’s body with consummate ease in the comic books!

Interestingly, there’s one very key way that bringing the Sentry and the Void into the MCU could drive the narrative of the entire franchise going forward…
