Amazon’s The Boys is bringing Terror into Season 2

It’s time for some Terror in Season 2 of Amazon’s The Boys.
Season 2 of Amazon’s The Boys can’t get here fast enough. Judging by the most recent trailer, it looks like Black Noir is going to have a bigger role than he did in Season 1. He’ll be more Ethan just the silent type. We’ve also received confirmation that Stormfront (who’ll be played by Aya Cash) will be one of the antagonists in this season. Stormfront is the closest to Homelander in terms of power set. Now, more news has popped up thanks to The Boys‘ Karl Urban, who appeared at C2E2 this past weekend. During his panel, he revealed (via Syfy Wire) that we’ll be getting Butcher’s dog Terror.
It may not seem like it, but Terror is a huge deal. In the comics, Terror is the only thing in the world that Butcher actually cared about. He went everywhere with him. And he wasn’t just the team mascot or Butcher’s pet; he was one of The Boys. Terror fought with them as well, and sometimes it seemed like he had super strength.

When things seemed to be getting rough, Terror seemed to know. He could sniff out an enemy better than some bloodhounds. Butcher also had Terror do some incredibly inappropriate things. Some of the scenes are so off-putting that they won’t make the cut for the show. Yes, they’re that awful.
It was weird that Terror wasn’t actually in the first season. However, he was seen in one of the trailers, specifically during a scene in which they’re all sitting on the couch flipping the bird. Fans of the comic books were probably waiting for him to appear, especially since he was crucial to getting Hughie to smile the first time he met Butcher. Whatever The Boys is going to do with Terror is going to be both fun and disturbing.

Who knows what they’re planning for Terror in Season 2 of The Boys. Will Terror just be a dog Butcher brings around, or will the canine be attacking supes as well? How are the creators going to bring him into the show? Will Butcher just purchase a dog to help with his emotions, or did he have the dog the entire time and just never mentioned him? We’ll have to wait and see.
