10. Commissioner Gordon

Voiced by: Christopher Meloni

Commissioner Gordan has been dealing with crooked cops, the mob, Batman, and the super-criminals of Gotham City for over a decade. It’s always been befuddling how he maintains his calm. Well, James Gordon isn’t doing so well in this universe. He’s shaky, unshaven, and getting very irrational. He was excited to use a tank despite being told it was a bad idea. Guess what? It was. Gordon used the tank and it resulted in disaster.

It was nice and strange seeing Gordon getting emotional with Batman. Not in a, “Thank you for saving Gotham” kind of way. It was needy and desperate. At one point, he starts hanging out with Clayface’s hand because he was upset with Batman. It was sad, but it allowed for some entertaining moments.

Christopher Meloni voiced Gordon. If you’ve followed his career, you get why this is amusing. For the uninformed, Meloni spent 12 years and did almost 300 episodes of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Hearing his voice as a broken down commissioner is funny for so many reasons. The main reason is his emotions. On the show, he’s known for anger and being sure of his actions. Here, he’s an emotional wreck and a mess of a person. The creators must have known the audience was going to laugh when they found out who was voicing him. they were correct.
